Leica Vario-Apo-Elmarit-R 70-180mm f/2.8 is a manual focus zoom lens for SLR cameras.
The optical scheme comprises 13 elements in 10 groups. Thanks to the 8-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with very smooth features.
This lens has a size of 189.5 mm. The lens of this size it is difficult to carry. This lens weighs 1870 grams, given the weight of the camera, it may deliver long wearing problems.
