Leitz Wetzlar Summicron 35mm f/2 is a fast manual focus prime lens for 35mm rangefinder cameras.

The optical scheme comprises 8 elements in 6 groups. Thanks to minimum aperture ratio of f/2.0 enables shooting in low lighting conditions without a tripod or a flash. Thanks to the 10-bladed aperture, this lens has a beautiful bokeh, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with highly circular features. This feature will be appreciated by professional filmmakers and photographers taking portrait photos.

This lens has a size of 28.4 mm. It is very compact and pocket-size. The weight of this lens is very small (150 grams) and is almost invisible against the background of the weight of the camera. Lens fit for low light conditions. Leitz Wetzlar Summicron 35mm f/2 went on sale in 1958. Currently out of production (1963) and is no longer available.
