The optical scheme comprises 7 elements in 5 groups (2As). Thanks to very high brightness value of f/1.7 it comes as a great tool in poor lighting conditions and small depth of field. Thanks to the 7-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with very smooth features.
This lens has a size of 25 mm. It is very compact and pocket-size. The weight of this lens is very small (87 grams) and is almost invisible against the background of the weight of the camera. The lens is suitable for shooting near objects. Lens fit for low light conditions. Lumix G 20mm f/1.7 II Asph went on sale in 2013.
