Macro-Takumar 50mm f/4 is a manual focus prime lens for SLR cameras.
The optical scheme comprises 4 elements in 3 groups. Thanks to the 8-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with very smooth features.
This lens has a size of 55 mm. This is a normal size, very convenient in everyday use. The weight of this lens (265 grams) is suitable for everyday use. The lens is suitable for shooting near objects. Mounting the filter has a common size. Macro-Takumar 50mm f/4 went on sale in 1964. Currently out of production (1966) and is no longer available.
