MC Volna-8 50mm f/1.2 is a ultra fast manual focus prime lens for SLR cameras.
The optical scheme comprises 7 elements in 6 groups. Thanks to very high brightness value of f/1.2 it comes as a great tool in poor lighting conditions and small depth of field. Due to the fact that lens has 5-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field may be shown which the nuts-effect in the bokeh.
This lens has a size of 58 mm. This is a normal size, very convenient in everyday use. This lens weighs 370 grams, given the weight of the camera, it may deliver long wearing problems. The lens is suitable for shooting near objects. Mounting the filter has a common size. Lens fit for low light conditions. MC Volna-8 50mm f/1.2 went on sale in 1983. Currently out of production (1985) and is no longer available.
