Meyer-Optik Görlitz Primoplan V 58mm f/1.9 is a fast manual focus prime lens for SLR cameras.
The optical scheme comprises 5 elements in 4 groups (Ernostar). Thanks to minimum aperture ratio of f/1.9 enables shooting in low lighting conditions without a tripod or a flash. Thanks to the 14-bladed aperture, this lens has a beautiful bokeh, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with highly circular features. This feature will be appreciated by professional filmmakers and photographers taking portrait photos.
This lens has a size of 42.4 mm. This is a normal size, very convenient in everyday use. The weight of this lens is very small (167 grams) and is almost invisible against the background of the weight of the camera. Mounting the filter has a common size. Lens fit for low light conditions. Meyer-Optik Görlitz Primoplan V 58mm f/1.9 went on sale in 1952. Currently out of production (1959) and is no longer available.
