Meyer Gorlitz Primoplan 50mm f/1.5 is a fast manual focus prime lens for 35mm rangefinder cameras.

The optical scheme comprises 5 elements in 4 groups. Thanks to minimum aperture ratio of f/1.5 enables shooting in low lighting conditions without a tripod or a flash. Thanks to the 14-bladed aperture, this lens has a beautiful bokeh, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with highly circular features. This feature will be appreciated by professional filmmakers and photographers taking portrait photos.

Lens fit for low light conditions. Meyer Gorlitz Primoplan 50mm f/1.5 went on sale in 1936.
