Nikon Nikkor 18mm f/3.5 Ai-S is a manual focus prime lens for SLR cameras.
The optical scheme comprises 11 elements in 10 groups. Thanks to the 7-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with very smooth features.
This lens has a size of 61.5 mm. This is a normal size, very convenient in everyday use. This lens weighs 350 grams, given the weight of the camera, it may deliver long wearing problems. The lens is suitable for shooting near objects. Mounting the filter has a common size. Nikon Nikkor 18mm f/3.5 Ai-S went on sale in 1981. Currently out of production (2005) and is no longer available.
