Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Xenar 50mm f/2.8 is a manual focus prime lens for 35mm rangefinder cameras.
The optical scheme comprises 4 elements in 3 groups. Due to the fact that lens has 5-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field may be shown which the nuts-effect in the bokeh.
This lens has a size of 28 mm. It is very compact and pocket-size. Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Xenar 50mm f/2.8 went on sale in 1958. Currently out of production (1969) and is no longer available.
