Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 50mm f/2.8 is a manual focus prime lens for SLR cameras.

The optical scheme comprises 4 elements 3 groups Tessar. Thanks to the 14-bladed aperture, this lens has a beautiful bokeh, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with highly circular features. This feature will be appreciated by professional filmmakers and photographers taking portrait photos.

This lens has a size of 43 mm. This is a normal size, very convenient in everyday use. Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 50mm f/2.8 went on sale in 1938. Currently out of production (1956) and is no longer available.
