SLR Magic HyperPrime 12mm f/1.6 is a ultra fast manual focus prime lens for 4/3.
The optical scheme comprises 12 elements in 10 groups. Thanks to very high brightness value of f/1.6 it comes as a great tool in poor lighting conditions and small depth of field. Thanks to the 12-bladed aperture, this lens has a beautiful bokeh, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with highly circular features. This feature will be appreciated by professional filmmakers and photographers taking portrait photos.
This lens has a size of 73 mm. This is a normal size, very convenient in everyday use. The weight of this lens (330 grams) is suitable for everyday use. The lens is suitable for shooting near objects. Mounting the filter has a common size. Lens fit for low light conditions. SLR Magic HyperPrime 12mm f/1.6 went on sale in 2011. Currently out of production (2013) and is no longer available.
