SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.4 is a ultra fast manual focus prime lens for SLR cameras.
The optical scheme comprises 7/6. Thanks to very high brightness value of f/1.4 it comes as a great tool in poor lighting conditions and small depth of field. Thanks to the 8-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with very smooth features.
This lens has a size of 32 mm. It is very compact and pocket-size. The weight of this lens (235 grams) is suitable for everyday use. The lens is suitable for shooting near objects. Mounting the filter has a common size. Lens fit for low light conditions. SMC Pentax-M 50mm f/1.4 went on sale in 1977. Currently out of production (1984) and is no longer available.
