SMC Pentax FA* 200mm f/2.8 ED is a fast autofocus prime lens for SLR cameras.
The optical scheme comprises 9 elements in 8 groups. Thanks to minimum aperture ratio of f/2.8 enables shooting in low lighting conditions without a tripod or a flash. Thanks to the 9-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with very smooth features.
This lens has a size of 134 mm. This is a normal size, very convenient in everyday use. This lens weighs 785 grams, given the weight of the camera, it may deliver long wearing problems. Mounting the filter has a common size. Lens fit for low light conditions. SMC Pentax FA* 200mm f/2.8 ED went on sale in 1993. Currently out of production (2004) and is no longer available.
