SMC Takumar 200mm f/4 is a manual focus prime lens for Medium Format SLR system.
The optical scheme comprises 4 elements in 4 groups. Thanks to the 8-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with very smooth features.
This lens weighs 900 grams, given the weight of the camera, it may deliver long wearing problems. Minimum focusing distance 2.5 m is only for shooting distant objects. Mounting the filter has a common size. SMC Takumar 200mm f/4 went on sale in 1971. Currently out of production (1986) and is no longer available.
