Sony E 50mm f/1.8 OSS is a fast autofocus prime lens with image stabilization for half-frame SLR system.
Equivalent focal length is 77.5 mm. The optical scheme comprises 9 elements in 8 groups. Thanks to minimum aperture ratio of f/1.8 enables shooting in low lighting conditions without a tripod or a flash. Thanks to the 7-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with very smooth features. The Image Stabilizer gives the equivalent effect of a shutter speed.
