Tamron 400mm f/8 T mount model YO-8 is a manual focus prime lens for SLR cameras.

The optical scheme comprises 3 elements in 2 groups. Thanks to the n/a-bladed aperture, this lens has a beautiful bokeh, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with highly circular features. This feature will be appreciated by professional filmmakers and photographers taking portrait photos.

This lens weighs 620 grams, given the weight of the camera, it may deliver long wearing problems. Minimum focusing distance 10 m is only for shooting distant objects. Mounting the filter has a common size. Tamron 400mm f/8 T mount model YO-8 went on sale in 1965. Currently out of production (1969) and is no longer available.
