Tamron 70-220mm f/3.8 Adaptall model Z-220 is a manual focus zoom lens for SLR cameras.
The optical scheme comprises 14 elements in 11 groups. Thanks to the 9-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with very smooth features.
This lens has a size of 180 mm. The lens of this size it is difficult to carry. This lens weighs 1050 grams, given the weight of the camera, it may deliver long wearing problems. Minimum focusing distance 2.5 m is only for shooting distant objects. 70-220mm provides lot of focal length range. Tamron 70-220mm f/3.8 Adaptall model Z-220 went on sale in 1973. Currently out of production (1976) and is no longer available.
