Tamron 70-220mm f/4 Adapt-A-Matic is a manual focus zoom lens for SLR cameras.
The optical scheme comprises 14 elements in 11 groups. Thanks to the 9-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with very smooth features.
This lens has a size of 189 mm. The lens of this size it is difficult to carry. This lens weighs 1065 grams, given the weight of the camera, it may deliver long wearing problems. Mounting the filter has a common size. 70-220mm provides lot of focal length range. Tamron 70-220mm f/4 Adapt-A-Matic went on sale in 1969. Currently out of production (1973) and is no longer available.
