Tamron SP 17mm f/3.5 Adaptall-2 model 51B is a manual focus prime lens for SLR cameras.

The optical scheme comprises 12 elements in 10 groups. Due to the fact that lens has 5-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field may be shown which the nuts-effect in the bokeh.

The lens is suitable for shooting near objects. Tamron SP 17mm f/3.5 Adaptall-2 model 51B went on sale in 1979. Currently out of production (1984) and is no longer available.
