The optical scheme comprises 12 elements in 10 groups. Thanks to very high brightness value of f/1.4 it comes as a great tool in poor lighting conditions and small depth of field. Thanks to the 8-bladed aperture, the subjects located outside the depth of field are shown with very smooth features.
